When your lost in the midst of life trying to eke out a living for yourself and face the hard blows of life and you meet the one you instantly know he's the one. He's the one you can talk to for hours about all the topics in the world. He's the one who gets your drift and can hold on to it. He's the one who encourages you to become better at whatever you do. He's the one who finds happiness in your hopes and dreams. He's the one who becomes part of your crazy world and it feels like you've known him all your life. He's the one who's kiss makes you feel all warm and fuzzy in your heart. He's the one who bears his heart out to you and has nothing to conceal. He's the one who makes the time to know you and be part of your happiness.                He's the one who genuinely cares enough to travel across the world to meet you. He's the one who is both a friend and a lover. He's the one who makes you smile even when he isn

Travels and Adventures in North America

The weather this spring  was not as pleasant as in past years but it was filled with surprises and adventure. Mum called in early April announcing that she was due to arrive around Mother's Day in Canada. I was left with all the planning and preparation ahead of her arrival. I thought visiting Ottawa and Montreal would be a great idea but what I did not know was I would visit four beautiful cities in the transition to summer. Mum arrived in early May when the flowers were beginning to bloom and bright yellow dandelion dotted lawns freshly rejuvenated by the spring showers. The following weekend my Uncle arrived in a Hyundai Tucson after a strenuous drive from Buffalo. I believe the Drive into Canada is an experience everyone should have the scenery is breath taking. I for one did cross the rainbow bridge last year and the view of the two frothy white falls surrounded by misty white puffs of shale and limestone were breath taking even thou the the golden sun choose to slumber l

A month and a half ago as I finished the last amount of packing I braced myself to take a flight out of Toronto back to a distant land I was once born in. After a journey over the turbulent Atlantic, historic Europe and war torn Middle East my final mode of transportation circled in the sky as it dramatically lowered itself bracing to grip the warm black tarmac and screech to a halt. The plane covered in tiny icicles from the freezing atmosphere lowered slowly its wheels gripping the tarmac. As the plane screeched to a halt the passing tall grass and the brown earth made me realize I was finally home after almost two years.                    The luggage carousal swung around lazily releasing luggage to weary passengers almost ready to leave the confines of the airport. Phones rang as eager relatives tried to c

The World and Counting

To try an recount the numerous times That humanity has crossed the lines  And wreaked havoc in this world sublime.  And to all those people who still pine  Friends there is hope and there is time The world is facing its darkest time Where missiles destroys lives at times And what diminishes are family vines All destroyed by hatred and mines The world today has a heartless clime Do protect what is yours and mine So than we can change back time To when we were barely turning nine And becoming a part of world design Evoke love within our thoughtless minds So that the universe and it's kind Can live a life so great and kind That we may never have to find The wonderful years of our prime Covered in rubble and lime From people's power and crime. So try and count the times When love was yours and mine And try to make it multiply and shine To give this world a brighter clime So that all the children can chime Like they once did in a better time
